1) 6.7 PowerStroke EGT Sensor Failure. Exhaust gas temperate (EGT) sensor problems are among the most frequent issues on the 6.7 PowerStroke engines. The 6.7L V8 uses a total of 4 EGT sensors, so there are quite a few areas for potential failures. The first time I was told that two turbo lines required replacement and that it was discovered that they were the source of the oil leak. A few hundred miles later I notice oil leaking again. that is more a vp44 issue i agree with 08 6.7 mega man. something you can try is disconnect your grid heater and try to fire the truck on ether/starting fluid. if the truck starts up and takes off running on diesel under it's own power mostly likely a priming issue (leaks on suction line causing air to enter system) if the truck will start to run on the ether but not take off on diesel i would.
